The Kite 3.0 inclusive para climbing harness is a full-body adjustable harness that can be used for a variety of rope-based activities at height including abseiling, high ropes courses and rope climbing.
The Kite 3.0 inclusive para climbing harness can be fitted to an individual whether they are standing, sitting, or lying down, and features colourful straps that aid with communication and independent adjustment. It has been designed to provide safe and comfortable support for all, including those with limited sitting balance
The Kite 3.0 harness provides postural support in a range of positions, whether an individual needs to be sitting, upright or reclined. The sitting angle can be altered, similar to a tilting space wheelchair.
The Kite 3.0 inclusive para climbing harness has been designed and manufactured in the UK by EA Developments. It has been designed and tested to the BS EN 361:2002 Personal Protective Equipment against falls from a height — Full body harness, BS EN 12277:2015 Mountaineering equipment - full body harness type A. It also conforms to the Personal Protective Equipment Regulations (Regulation (EU) 2016/425 as brought into UK law and amended).
The Kite 3.0 inclusive para climbing harness shares a modular system with the Aquabac 4.0, which is a postural support system suited for watersports. This modular system consists of interchangeable parts that can be used in various ways to provide personalised postural support. This means the personalised postural support inserts can be set up with the Kite 3.0 and later removed to be used with the Aquabac 4.0.
The Kite 3.0 is a key component of an extensive inclusive climbing system and comes with a full range of head and neck support accessories, as well as foot support accessories for a safe and meaningful experience.
