EA Developments understands that everyone deserves a comfortable and safe harness for high ropes activities, and so The Kite was developed. The Kite is a single harness with safe and comfortable support for all users, including individuals with limited sitting balance. It can be used for a variety of rope-based outdoor activities at height, such as abseiling and high ropes courses. It can be fitted to an individual standing, sitting, or lying down, with coloured straps for easier communication and adjustment. Outdoor equipment, especially when used at height, have an expiry date for safety. To reduce waste and encourage sustainability, EA Developments created a bespoke bag from Kite harnesses when they can no longer be used.
Nigel Winser, Earthwatch Europe Ambassador, Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), and friend of Equal Adventure has said:
'The Kite Bag is unique and I am very proud to own one. It's a magnificent bag which I use on my expeditions to London town for meetings. Also I love the fact it has had a previous life lifting explorers into the canopy'
EA Developments, in discussions with Nigel Winser, designed the Kite Bag. The Kite Bag is made from old Kite harnesses when they are more than ten years old. Old Kite harnesses can be sent back to the factory and re-fashioned into an adjustable, colourful side bag. The bag includes a shoulder pad to increase comfort, and handles on the flap so it can open with ease. This reuses almost all of the old Kite harness to create a new, brightly coloured, fun, bespoke bag that can be used for many activities. This is beneficial to the environment as it makes sure that EA Developments products can be reused and recycled into even more products for our customers, without adding to landfill or costing our planet.
